Support the 2024 Boston Public Schools Book Fair!

This May, Boston Public Schools is hosting a “BPS Book Fair”. This fair provides an opportunity for the BPS community, especially students, to celebrate Arts and Literacy education by engaging in creative and critical thinking activities and encouraging equitable literacy with free books and other materials for students. The BPS Book Fair will occur on May 20, 23, and 24, 2024, from 8 AM to 5 PM at the Bruce C. Bolling Building. 

In Boston, over 50,000 students are enrolled at one of 119 schools in the Boston Public Schools district. The BPS Book Fair will target schools who do not have their own library and is expected to welcome 1,500+ students. Over the course of the three days, different age groups will have the opportunity to leave with free new books and access specialized arts and literacy educational activities. 

The Office of City and Community Engagement is committed to furthering educational equity across Boston. Sponsoring this event, with the support of our campus and community partners, is an important part of this commitment.
