Introducing Fall Volunteer Connects

While COVID-19 health and safety guidelines wouldn’t allow us to gather on Centennial Common this year, City and Community Engagement remains committed to creating space for nonprofit organizations to connect with Northeastern students, staff, and faculty. This year we launched Fall Volunteer Connects! The virtual directory contains profiles from over 30 Boston-area nonprofits looking to recruit members of the Northeastern community to volunteer and serve. Each profile contains organizational overviews, volunteer roles, expectations, quotes, videos, and more! Click here to begin searching the directory!

Fall Volunteer Connects also featured 3 nonprofit panels focused on – recordings linked below:

Panel featured representatives from nonprofits who all take a different approach to support their communities. Panelists spoke about their journey in nonprofit careers, provided context on the importance of providing programs and resources to communities, how their organizations approach their particular service area, and opportunities to get involved. Each panel also featured a student who shared their experience volunteering with one of the nonprofits!
