The Program in Latinx, Latin American and Caribbean Studies presents An Evening with Selenis Leyva. This event is the first of the 2023-24 Latinxs and Comedy Speaker series.

Selenis Leyva is an award-winning actress, author and activist who has represented the multi-dimensional lives of Latinas throughout her long career as a theater, television and film actress. Born in Baracoa, Cuba to a Cuban father and Dominican mother, she developed her comedic sensibilities while growing up in the Bronx.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m.; Presentation begins at 6:00 p.m.
